In case you didn’t get a chance to see it on our Facebook and Twitter page, Yellow Dog is excited to announce the launch of our new “Where in the World is the Dog” Photo Contest that we will be running over the next few months. In honor of the fact that Yellow Dog is about to hit 3,000 Friends on Facebook, for the next several months we’ll be running a contest where our readers and friends can submit photos of the Yellow Dog logo featured in unusual places from around the world. Hats, stickers, the cover of a catalog … whatever it is that features the Yellow Dog logo will work! Simply send us a photo of our logo pictured in a different or unusual location – be it a picture of yourself holding up a Yellow Dog catalog half way around the world or a Yellow Dog sticker plastered on the back of your mother-in-laws mini van in downtown Cleveland. Include a description of where the logo is, and tell us about the shot. (The funnier the story, the better!) We’ll publish the best submissions on our Facebook page, and once a month we’ll pick a winner to receive a full Yellow Dog gift pack (including a Yellow Dog hat, custom Buff, Confluence Films DVD’s, a Yellow Dog coffee mug, and more). At the end of the year, we’ll pick the very best submission and the winner will receive a NEW HATCH FINATIC REEL! Need some materials for the contest? Tom is Yellow Dog's program director for Alaska and Office Manager, handling all Alaskan trips, paperwork arrangements and details, itineraries, transfers and working closely with each destination to ensure everything is accounted for on your next trip. He also manages the Yellow Dog rental gear program, making sure each Yellow Dog traveller is outfitted with the best rods and reels for the job. Originally from the Midwest, Tom graduated from the University of Montana and decided to stay in the state and put his degree to use in Bozeman.
